As one of the main aspects that we wanted to convey through the branding of our studio was the personality of the company and how easy going and fun we all are as designers and so we decided that whatever the colour scheme for our branding guidelines might be they need to be bright and bold. After deliberating whether any colours meant anything to us as individuals of which we couldn't really agree on instead we decided to take a purely aesthetically based approach to the decision on colour schemes and after some discussion we decided that as a group we all likes the two darker colours in the middle of the image above, the red and the blue. We then thought that it was necessary to outline some alternative colours that we would brand ourselves in as setting a limitation to two specific colours could hold us back further down the line and cause complications and the designing stage due to not enough access in to colours. Although we knew we needed some more we didn't won't to over complicate the brand guidelines with extra unrelated colours and instead decided to use a toned down version of each colour to increase simplicity and avoid over confusion. Then we decided that black and white were necessary parts to our branding that would be needed swell and so therefore included them in the branding as well.
As the studio centres itself around the fact that we have an added emphasis in to pattern and collage non digital based work and one of our team members specialises in this pattern collage work that we would design a number of different shapes of which would act as part of our visual identity and used across all collateral from branding to promotional to website, Here above is a visual depiction of our visual identity and colour scheme. This collateral would be designed by other members of our design team, my job was to design the website for the studio.
